Marketplace transparency

Useful matches. Earned recognition.

Our recommended order combines relevance, recent successful purchases and established seller performance. A badge describes measured history; it is not a guarantee of safety, future delivery or product quality.

What comes first?

Your query and filters come first. Strong title and product-detail matches outrank weaker matches, even when a weaker match has more sales. Within comparable matches, qualifying sales, seller fulfillment history and purchase-backed reviews carry the most weight. Listing completeness and a small, temporary new-listing boost also help.

Recent listings viewed in this browser can help order similar matches, using their category, shop and listing. This small signal cannot overpower relevance or established performance. Repeated views do not keep increasing the boost. We do not infer sensitive personal traits, use outside browsing history, or sell a better organic rank.

Browsing history is limited to 30 days in this browser. Select “Don’t use my browsing history” in search filters to turn it off for those results. Choosing price, newest or another explicit sort overrides recommended ordering. Clearing this site’s cookies also removes its local browsing history.

Visible, earned listing badges

◆ Best seller
Top 10% of purchased listings in its category over the last 90 days, with at least 30 qualifying purchases and 15 distinct buyers. There must be at least five purchased listings in the category. Equal performance shares the same rank.
★ Top rated
At least 10 qualifying reviews, a 4.8-or-higher average, and a review-confidence score in the top 10% of its category. The confidence score balances rating with review count. At least five listings in the category must have 10 qualifying reviews. This uses the last 90 days.

Both badges also require an established seller record: at least 25 qualifying delivered orders from 10 buyers, at least 25 orders with elapsed fulfillment deadlines, at least 95% verified on-time dispatch, no more than 5% refunded orders, and no unresolved order issues or financial dispute holds. Badges update as the underlying evidence changes.

What counts—and what doesn’t

Qualifying purchases require a real paid checkout, provider-verified delivery of every shipment, and no refund or unresolved payment dispute. Test orders, free orders, owner/team purchases and disabled buyer accounts do not qualify. Repeated purchases count at most once per buyer, listing and day. Reviews must be published, tied to a real paid, provider-delivered purchase and posted after delivery. Refunding an order does not erase that buyer’s genuine review from our rating signal. A seller-entered delivery status is not enough.

Badge comparison groups round up to whole listings, and ties share rank. New sellers can still appear in relevant searches without badges. If we lack sufficient verified evidence, we do not invent a sales, rating or reliability claim. Our checks reduce manipulation but cannot rule out every form of coordinated abuse.

Ads only when a category has competition

Paid placements are labeled Sponsored and kept separate from earned ranking. Ads cannot buy either badge. A listing’s specific category needs at least 100 active, in-stock, marketplace-eligible listings from 10 independent sellers. Each seller contributes at most 20 listings toward the threshold, across all their shops.

If a category falls below the threshold, its ads stop serving and new clicks cannot incur an ad charge—even from a previously displayed ad. No historical charges are rewritten. Campaign activation, budgets, traffic protection and other ad launch requirements still apply; meeting this threshold alone does not enable paid advertising.
