Pre-launch policy draft
Seller Policy
Standards independent jewelry sellers must follow to list, sell, communicate, and fulfill on Wishlilly.
This operational draft is not represented as attorney-approved. Qualified legal review and the missing business identity details must be completed before public launch.
Draft effective date: July 19, 2026
Seller eligibility and verification
- Provide accurate identity, business, payment, payout, tax, location, and contact information requested during onboarding.
- Before shop activation, satisfy each current U.S.-eligibility, physical-address, hosted identity/KYC, tax/TIN, supported payout-account, beneficial-owner, sanctions, fraud/risk, agreement, and product-scope requirement. The precise legal definition and evidence rules remain counsel-pending.
- Use only Wishlilly’s approved hosted-provider flows for identity, tax, and bank verification; do not send raw identity documents, full tax identifiers, bank credentials, selfies, or biometric records through ordinary application, message, or support fields.
- Keep account access private and ensure each team member uses the permissions assigned to them.
- Automated checks may keep an application pending, require corrected information, suspend selling when evidence expires, or deny activation. Sellers must receive an action-required path and a documented correction or appeal route; final notices and appeal rules require approval before launch.
- Complete marketplace and payment-provider verification before shop activation and keep continuing requirements current before creating new sales or receiving payouts.
Listing standards
- Use original or properly licensed photography and truthful titles, descriptions, materials, stones, dimensions, personalization, price, quantity, and processing times.
- Clearly disclose treatments, plating, lab-created or simulated stones, allergens, care requirements, and important limitations.
- Do not list prohibited, counterfeit, recalled, unsafe, infringing, mass-produced-as-handmade, or materially misleading items.
- Do not use reviews, badges, scarcity claims, discounts, or comparison prices deceptively.
Orders and fulfillment
- Honor confirmed prices and specifications or promptly seek the buyer’s agreement to a change.
- Ship within the disclosed processing time and provide accurate carrier and tracking information.
- Package jewelry safely and comply with carrier restrictions, customs rules, insurance terms, and destination laws.
- Respond promptly to buyer messages, delivery exceptions, returns, disputes, and evidence requests.
Payments, ads, records, and enforcement
- Do not manipulate clicks, impressions, search terms, attribution, refunds, orders, or reviews.
- Maintain records needed to reconcile orders, refunds, disputes, shipping, advertising, payouts, and taxes.
- Wishlilly may remove listings, pause shops, restrict features, or close accounts based on the seriousness, recurrence, evidence, and risk of a violation.
- Final fees, reserves, payout timing, setoff, disputes, and appeals require counsel and payment-provider review before live transfers.
